I am Eric C. Korn, owner/executive chef of Good-Life Gourmet, founded in 2008 as a high-end catering company serving Westchester, Southern Connecticut and New York City.

Now we are expanding our reach to the public with the introduction of gourmet sandwich shops bearing our name, the first two appearing in Irvington and Scarsdale in Westchester.

Through both shops, we offer Good-Life Meals, complete carry-home dinners made with great care by hand and with no artificial ingredients. It’s like having your own private chef at home!

Food and family are central to my life, and through Good-Life Gourmet, my team and I strive daily to share this important focus with our customers, our Food Family we call them, by creating meals that are fun, delicious and stress-free.

When my team and I are playing with ideas and recipes in the kitchen for our catered events, we often turn the results into sandwiches for our own lunches. We find that a gourmet sandwich offers endless possibilities for creative innovation and that all the thought and skill we devote to elegant dinner parties can be applied between two slices of bread. Good-Life Gourmet Meals

Our lives seem to get busier every day, leaving little time for cooking and almost no opportunity to enjoy dinner with our families. With our Good-Life Gourmet Meals, we set out to help our Food Family solve these problems.

“Good” also refers to “good works” by Good-Life Gourmet which has formed a partnership with Westhab, the largest non-profit provider of affordable housing and supportive services in Westchester County. I am proud to work with Westhab’s Achieve Program which partners with businesses to train young people to learn job skills. My team and I welcome these enterprising young people who work side by side with us to learn skills for careers in the foodservice business.
